NEW ENGLAND-The Patriots fighting double
"Super Bowl" curse, but no one on this team
believes in the maloocchio
NEW YORK JETS-Chad Pennington's experience gives the
fly boys edge over Bills stampede.
BUFFALO-New QB J.P. Losman has never started a game
but his supporting cast is good.
MIAMI-The reunion is great with Ricky but Ronnie Brown
and A.J. Feeley will have step up to keep the Dolphins
from floating out to sea.

INDIANAPOLIS-As long as Peyton Manning
is healthy and perfect, offense takes them to the
playoffs again.
JACKSONVILLE-The Jags are rough and tough, and with
Leftwich are they made of Super stuff.
HOUSTON-David Carr, Johnson and Davis deliver enough
offense to hit .500 mark, question is will the defense
deliver the same.
TENNESSEE-New coach Chow should help Fisher and McNair
move team up from injury nightmare.

BALTIMORE-Kyle Boller steps up and
has go to guy in Derrick Mason, defense has always
been there.
PITTSBURGH-Honeymoon is over for Big Ben and older
running backs, off season losses add up.
CINCINNATI-Carson Palmer is better and has more targets
than Roethisberger, but defense is lacking.
CLEVELAND-Major rebuilding project for Romeo Crennel,
don't trust Dilfer and Droughns to get the job done.

DENVER-Jake the Snake can lead them
back if he doesn't self destruct, while defense has
stepped up.
SAN DIEGO-Won't catch anyone by surprise this season,
you will see Phillip Rivers with schedule much tougher.
OAKLAND-Will Randy Moss and Lamont Jordan led them
back to respectability, should give defense a rest.
KANSAS CITY-Trent Green and offense keep going but
defensive added age not speed.

PHILADELPHIA-Will off field problems
keep them from returning to playoffs, I don't think
so.
DALLAS-Drew Bledsoe, Julius Jones give the Big Tuna
all he needs to move up.

Burgess, a good offensive line and healthy defense
back.
WASHINGTON-Defense is tough but Gibbs playbook is
updated for today's game.

CAROLINA-Everyone is healthy and that
means trouble for Falcons, Fox has improved team yearly.
ATLANTA-Vick can handle most teams single handedly
but he needs help to get to promised land.
TAMPA BAY-Bucs will be improved but can a new Cadillac
move them quicker.
NEW ORLEANS-Saints now have no home field advantage
and it's going to be a long season.

MINNESOTA-Vikings will not miss Moss,
they are bigger, stronger and deeper on defense.
DETROIT-The Lions have more guys who can catch the
ball than the St. Louis Cardinals.
CHICAGO-With Grossman gone, it's going to be tough,
defense can't do it all.
GREEN BAY-Brett Favre has less to work with than last
season, defense plugging holes.

ARIZONA-Why Not! Kurt Warner and plenty
of targets, defense has been there.
SEATTLE-Holmgren has them always ready to play, you
just don't know when.
ST.LOUIS-They always will score points but can the

baptismal by fire.
