The NCAA football betting community supporting
No. 15 Cincinnati, No. 20 Kansas and No. 11 Missouri
has turned a major profit this year. These are
the only remaining teams who's still perfect
ATS (Against the Spread) heading into Week 7.
All three will be in action on Saturday, as
they attempt to remain unblemished straight up
and ATS, beginning with No. 20 Kansas (-26) hosting
Baylor (+26) at 12:30pm EST.
Conference play has been very unkind to Baylor,
where they are 0-8 ATS in their last eight. Kansas
has had better success in conference play, where
they've gotten paid in four of their last five.
NCAA football odds display Kansas the 26-point
early favorites which is good news to their investors
considering the Jayhawks have covered the number
in the last five games as the chalk.
No. 11 Missouri
(+10½) will invade Oklahoma
to play the No. 6 Sooners (-10½) in another
great Big 12 contest starting at 6:30pm EST.
If Missouri is
to remain perfect ATS they'll have to do so
as +10½-point underdogs.
The underdog is 5-1 ATS in their last six meetings
between the two.
No. 15 Cincinnati
(-10½) will look to
cover yet again when they take on Louisville
(+10½) in a Big East beauty in front of
the home folks kicking off at 7:00pm EST.
It won't be easy for the Bearcats considering
the Cardinals are 4-0 ATS in their last four
games played in Cincinnati and 7-2 ATS in their
last nine meetings overall. As well, the road
team is 5-1 ATS in their last six games between
the two.
Will Kansas, Missouri or Cincinnati be the next
teams earning the respect of oddsmakers as the
double-digit faves to stumble? It's been a year
full of upsets and a growing trend where teams
are tagged with insanely huge numbers only to
lose outright, as was the case last week with
USC and UCLA.
