handled by the surprising Detroit Lions last
week 20-17. Minnesota’s
best days would appear to be ahead of them with
young quarterback Tavaris Jackson and rookie
running back Adrian Peterson.
The Kansas City Chiefs, (0-2 SU, 1-1 ATS, 0-2
O/U) are an absolute mess at the moment. Kansas
City is ranked 28th in the league in overall
offense, including 27th rushing despite the fact
they have Larry Johsnon.

Analysis: This
pick is fairly easy considering how each team
has played in their opening two contests. The
Minnesota Vikings have played quality defense
in each game this season allowing 20 points
to the Detroit Lions and a mere three points
to the Atlanta Falcons. Minnesota also has
the league’s sixth-ranked rush defense
that will go up against Kansas City’s LJ.
The Chiefs have
scored just 13 points combined, in the season’s first two games, though
Kansas City’s defense does rank sixth against
the pass and seventh overall in the league.
While Arrowhead Stadium is undoubtedly an incredibly
tough place to play, I think the Vikings will
cover this spread by winning outright.
