Saturday, Peyton Manning
and the explosive Indianapolis Colts invade Baltimore
to face the Ravens. Last week, Manning wasn't
on his A-Game but managed to get the win by going
30-of-38 for 268 yards with three interceptions.
The Ravens are a very good
team on both sides of the ball, especially on
defense where they only give up a stingy 12.6
per game, which is the league's best. As a team,
they have registered 60 sacks and that should
concern Manning.
Home cookin' has fed Baltimore
backers a plate of cash, where the Ravens are
8-2 ATS in their last 10 home games. As well,
the favorite is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
Also on Saturday, the Philadelphia
Eagles soar into the bayou to play the New Orleans
Saints. Last week, the Eagles downed the New York
Giants 23-20 in a game where Quarterback Jeff
Garcia was far from his best.
Jeff Garcia threw for 153
yards, one touchdown but was able to play efficiently
enough to win for the sixth time in seven starts.
However, if the Eagles are to upset the favored
Saints, Garcia will have to play much better.
Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks
fly into the windy city to take on the Chicago
Bears.
The Bears own a stellar defense
and they'll need to shine incase quarterback Rex
Grossman continues to struggle.
The Seahawks are a money-dropping
1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 vs. NFC. However, they
can better that number if they can put pressure
on Grossman.
In the weekend finale, the
New England Patriots play the San Diego Chargers
on the left coast.
The Chargers' offense features
MVP running back LaDainian Tomlinson, who galloped
for a colossal 1815 yards this year while shattering
the record books along the way.
