The Arizona Cardinals (1-1 SU, 2-0 ATS, 1-1
O/U) have allowed 20 points to their opponents
in each contest in splitting its first two games,
a 20-17 Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers
and a surprising 23-20 win over the Seattle Seahawks
in Week 2.
Led by young quarterback
Matt Leinart and the team’s athletic
skill position players, Arizona has compiled
the 13th overall ranked offense (6th rushing).
Even more surprising is the fact that the Cardinals
are ranked ninth in overall defense.
The Baltimore Ravens, (1-1 SU, 0-2 ATS, 1-0-1
O/U) have scored 20 points in each of its first
two contests, a 27-20 loss to the Cincinnati
Bengals in Week 1 and a 20-13 win over the New
York Jets last week.
As has been the
case in the Brian Billick era, Baltimore’s fourth ranked defense is much
better than the team’s 21st ranked offense.
